Can I use my own earrings?
Clinical Ear Piercing does not allow clients to bring in their own jewelry for fresh piercings. This policy exists to maintain the safety of our clients since piercing jewelry has very specific requirements in material, gauge, post length and backings. Additionally, jewelry that has been previously worn can never be used even if it has been professionally cleaned. Any scratches or nicks can harbor harmful bacteria during the healing process.
How do I clean my new piercings?
When it comes to healing your brand new piercings, less is more! That said, there are a few very crucial steps you should commit to during the healing process to allow your body to heal the tiny puncture wounds (with a piece of jewelry inside them). 1) Spray both the front and back of your piercing with saline spray (0.9% sterile saline spray) 2-3x a day. 2) If there is any visible crust or discharge, you may use a saline soaked q-tip to wipe the area. 3) Shower once a day an
