What if I want to re-pierce my closed piercing or surgically repaired earlobe?
Re-piercing ears after surgical repair will be done safely by steering clear of any scar tissue as it does not contain adequate blood flow to enable proper healing. Often times old piercings that have "closed" can be gently reopened without having to create brand new piercings.
After the 6-week period, what kind of earrings should I wear?
For the first year after your piercing we recommend 14k/18k gold, platinum or implant grade titanium. We carry a full line of earrings that have been specifically chosen for the new earring wearer in diamonds, moissanite and cubic zirconia.
